Kasey & Charlie: New Haven, IN
I never posted my favorite wedding from last year, and having the entire day to myself on Valentine's got me reminiscing about this most special day. From flying me in like a rockstar on a tiny plane, to driving the Fort Wayne/New Haven, IN country roads with best friends from the airport, to the soul tingling friendship and love, to the most PERFECT weather I've ever seen, to dancing the night away in a barn with Chicago's best DJ mixing it up, ALL perfectly set in the bride's childhood home. This was one of the most magical days I have ever experienced and observed. Guests were refreshed before the wedding, the bride and groom saw each other before, the groomsmen played four square, the father of the groom wore a puffy coat. Guests shared reasons the couple belongs together in lieu of the usual stuff, vows were done on the fly (after Kasey wrote and lost hers twice ;) and even in the wee hours of the morning when the smores were gone, no one wanted to leave. That's when the fire grilled cheese happened and the bride had paired a "Kale" sweatshirt with her wedding gown. Thank you Charlie and Kasey for an unforgettable day in this life. You already know that your love inspires everyone around you and I wish you magical lives FULL of every happiness!
